Itemized Selections

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any other items that you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff:                                                                                                                                                                               $3,200

Our services include conducting the arrangement conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices including preparation and placement of obituary notices; preparation and filing of death certificate; notification of passing to the Social Security Administration; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or any other third parties necessary. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

The fee for our services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving remains.

Embalming:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                $900

Embalming is not required by law. However, embalming may be necessary, For Example: If you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing, embalming will be necessary. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.

This charge is made commencing on the 2^nd day our facilities are used to shelter remains.

ADDITIONAL SERVICE & FACILITY CHARGES

Use of Facilities & Staff For Visitation At Our Funeral Home:                                                                                                                                                      $400

Our services include Visitation setup, use of visitation room, placement of encased remains, receiving and displaying of floral arrangements, parking lot assistance and staff attendance during visitation. Available Evening visitation times are 5pm-7pm & 6pm-8pm. Visitations are priced in 2 hour time slots.

Use of Facilities & Staff For Funeral Ceremony At Our Funeral Home:                                                                                                                                     $500

Our services include coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, staff to attend the funeral ceremony, supervision of the committal or other disposition service, and setup and use of facilities for funeral ceremony.

Use of Facilities & Staff For Memorial Service At Our Funeral Home:                                                                                                                                                $500

Our services include coordinating the memorial service, supervision of the memorial service, staff to attend memorial service, setup and use of our facilities for the memorial service.

Use of Equipment & Staff For Graveside Service:                                                                                                                                                                                  $500

Our services include coordinating the funeral arrangements at the graveside, supervision of the graveside service, and equipment and staff necessary to conduct a graveside service.

Use of Equipment & Staff For Ceremony Performed At Another Facility:                                                                                                                                         $700

This charge is for any Funeral Ceremony, Visitation or Memorial Service that we conduct at a facility other that our funeral home. This includes: churches, civic centers, etc.…..

Use of Staff, Equipment and/or Facilities For Outside Ceremonies:                                                                                                                                               $1,200

This charge is for any Funeral Ceremony, Visitation, Memorial or Graveside Service that we conduct, when Napier Funeral Home & Crematory does not control the disposition.

Private Viewing of Loved One Prior To Cremation:                                                                                                                                                                               $250

This charge includes limited preparation of remains for a private 30 minute viewing of the decedent before cremation takes place. This does not include rites, ceremonies or embalming.

Transfer of Remains to Our Funeral Home:                                                                                                                                                                                      $400

MERCHANDISE

Exclusion of Warranty: Our funeral home makes no representations or warranties about the protective value of certain caskets or outer burial containers other than those made by the manufacturer. The only warranties expressed or implied, granted in connection with goods sold with this funeral service are the written warranties, if any, extended by the manufacturer thereof. No other warranties and specifically, no warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are extended by the seller.

CREMATION SERVICE OPTIONS

We take great pride in providing assurance that your loved one is cared for. When cremation takes place, it is done in our crematory located on our property, so that your loved one never leaves our care.

Traditional Funeral Service In A Church Followed By Cremation                                                                                                                                            $6,900

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, transfer from place of death into our care, embalming, 2 hour visitation, funeral service, our standard cremation casket purchase (Our rental casket is not designed to be transported and is not warrantied for such use) and the onsite crematory fee. This package does not include additional merchandise, sales tax or cash advance items.

Traditional Funeral Service In Our Chapel Followed By Cremation                                                                                                                                        $5,900

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, transfer from place of death into our care, embalming, 2 hour visitation, funeral service, our solid oak cremation rental casket and the onsite crematory fee. This package does not include additional merchandise, sales tax or cash advance items.

We take great pride in the fact that we do not have to contract with another funeral home or crematory to perform our cremations. Our crematory is located on our property so that when you select us for cremation services, your loved one never leaves our care. This fee covers a proportionate share of overhead costs associated with having our very own crematory. NOTE: This fee is already added to all of our cremation service options.
