Licensed Funeral Director/President
William "Sammie" Napier has been a South Carolina Licensed Funeral Director for 60 Years. He started working at J.M. Posey & Son Funeral Home in Graniteville as an 8 year old boy. He would sweep floors, and pick up around the business. As a young man he worked for the Posey Furniture Store and Funeral Home, running furniture routes to collect and also working in the Posey Ambulance Service. He always dreamed of owning his own business, and that dream came true in 1994 when he purchased the funeral home after working for the Posey family, and changed the name to Napier Funeral Home, Inc. Since 1994 Sammie and his staff have provided the greatest level of service to the community by carrying out a memorable funeral experience to honor the loved ones of the bereaved.
Sammie and Glenda have been married for 52 years. Together they own and operate the firm. Glenda has been with the funeral home since 1997 after retiring from 35 years of banking with many years as branch manager at Carolina First Bank and also Farmers and Merchants Bank in Aiken. She has a degree in banking and many years of experience in that field.
Clint has been employed by Napier Funeral Home, Inc for the past 15 years. He started working for the firm when he was just 16 years old. He would help out at visitations, funerals, and occasionally assist on first calls. When he turned 18 years old he started his apprenticeship under the direction of William S. Napier and at 20 years of age he went to mortuary school. He is a 2008 Graduate of Midland Valley High School and a 2014 Graduate of the South Carolina College Of Funeral Service hosted at Piedmont Tech, in Greenwood SC. Clint has a degree in Applied Science With A Major In Mortuary Science. He is a South Carolina Licensed Funeral Director And Embalmer. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association, and is a member of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Clint is a Licensed and Ordained Minister and has served on church staff in various positions, in the past. Clint and his wife Hannah are members of the Langley Church of God, and make their home in the Graniteville area.
Ronnie is a valued member of our part time staff. He is a South Carolina and Georgia licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, and is a South Carolina licensed Pre-Need Insurance Agent. He graduated from Gupton Jones University with a degree in Mortuary Science and has worked for many funeral homes in the past 40 years. Ronnie Proudly served our country in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville. He and his wife Brenda make there home in Graniteville.
Billy is a valued member of our part time staff. He has been employed by Napier Funeral Home since 1997. He responds to most of our first calls and assists on funerals. He is a member of the Warrenville Church Of God and he and his wife Alice make there home here in Graniteville.
Alvin is a valued member of our part-time staff. Alvin and his wife Cindy are members of the Langley Bible Church where Alvin serves as the Administrative Pastor. He is also a member of Belvedere Lodge #388.
John is a valued member of our full time staff. He has a passion for helping people through their time of great loss. John has a Mortuary Science degree from the South Carolina College of Funeral Service. He is a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church and makes his home in the Aiken area. He is a Licensed Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Rev. Hardee is the Pastor of the Langley Church of God in Graniteville. He has served as chaplain for the police department of his previous hometown and has served on various boards for the South Carolina Church of God. He serves as our chaplain here at Napier Funeral Home. He is passionate about what he does and would be honored to help any family in their time of loss.
