Obituary

Walter E. Powell, Jr., age 76, of Graniteville, S.C., son of the late Walter E. Powell, Sr. and the late Sara Blount Powell, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020. He is survived by his sons, Forrest Christopher Powell and Walter Edward Powell, III; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was born in and was a native of Graniteville, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. During his working years, he was a Car Salesman for local Car Dealerships. He shall be greatly missed by his family and loved ones but there is a consolation in knowing that he is now at peace. A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Friday January 8th, 2021 at 12pm at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery with Rev. Edward Hardee officiating.
