Michael E. Franklin
Mr. Michael E. Franklin, age 37, entered into rest on Thursday January 20, 2022.
He is survived by his children, Evalynn and Skyler Franklin; father, Andy Franklin; mother, Lisa Ann Preston; sisters, Maria Thompson (Greg), Tiffany Gymer; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Franklin; and maternal grandparents, James and Wilma Faye Preston
Michael was an auto mechanic and machine operator primarily working for himself through the years. He loved to play golf, go hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids. Michael will be deeply missed by all of his family and those whose lives he impacted.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday January 28, 2022 in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 11am with Pastor Steve Simpson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening January 27, 2022 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Johnnie Wright, Deshon Gartrell, Logan Doolittle, Shane Thomas, Robert Thomas, Dustin Thomas and Nicholas Barton.

Michael, I don't know what to say. I have loved you like a son since you, Dustin and Joey became best friends. You were at the house as much as the rest of the kids. Playing ball in the back yard, playing football at Leavelle, go cart riding at the farm. You w÷re always there. We will always love you and miss you. May you rest in peace and God will be watching over your family.
