Donald K. Morrison

Mr. Donald K. Morrison, age 74, beloved husband to Mrs. Sandra Wood Morrison, entered into rest on Monday March 8, 2021.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Sandy (Randy) Widener; son, Don Morrison; granddaughter, Lauren Widener; and brother, Bobby (Amanda) Morrison.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Hugh and Helen Morrison; and sister-in-law, Connie Morrison.

Mr. Morrison worked for International Paper Co. in Industrial Maintenance and was a very skilled person in many trades. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Mr. Morrison was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 at 3pm at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery with Pastor James Young officiating. The interment will immediatley follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening March 11, 2021 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Duran Morrison, Shannon Morrison, Robert Hutto, Kenneth Hutto, Jimmy Hutto and Russell Hutto.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, social distancing and masks will be encouraged for the visitation indoors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at: 1120 15th Street. Augusta, Ga 30912.
