Anna lived behind me for many years and we chatted often or walked the dirt path for a visit. We shared some secrets and grief we had endured. She did love Elvis and Jason Sikes. We talked about St. Mary Jean at Our Lady if the Valley church who lived Anna’s hickory nut pound cake. She made me an old fashion clothes pin sack, pot holders, and a sack for plastic bags. She shared her great grands with me, Colton, Tyler and Jayden who called me Toots. She was getting I’ll more often and became so frail. I think she was just tired and asked the good lord to take her home. God Bless.
