Wilson L. Baker

October 6, 1934 — October 31, 2019

Mr. Wilson L. Baker, age 85, of Aiken, S.C., son of the late Harry A. Baker and the late Bessie Holloway Baker, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Pruitt Health of Aiken, S.C.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Hartley Baker; his daughter, Debra Baker (Ricky) White and son, Charles Bruce (Shirley) Baker and a daughter, Kathryn Playford; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was born in Warrenville, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He bravely served his country for five years in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist Faith. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 85 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A graveside service, celebrating his life, will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating.  The Pallbearers will be Ricky White, Jr., David White, Leon Holloway, Leroy Key, Tanner White and Remington White. There will be no visitation at the funeral home; family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside by 10:45 AM the day of the service.  Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the arrangements.
