William "Joe" Hill
Mr. William “Joe” Hill, age 91, beloved husband of the late Alma Ree Chapman Hill, entered into eternal rest on Friday August 21st, 2020.
He is survived by his two daughters, Teresa (Tommy) Shull of Kitchings Mill, SC, and Kelli (Richard) Brown of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Austin (Libby) Shull of Clinton, SC, and Becki and Emily Brown of Raleigh, NC; and two great grandchildren, Nate and Jonah Shull.
In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, Young Sharp and Bernice Kennedy Hill; brother, James Malcom Hill; and sisters, Kathleen Hill Lupian, and Joyce Hill.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday afternoon August 23rd, 2020 at 1pm at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jackson, SC with Pastor Brandon Fulmer officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the many nurses and caregivers at the Hitchcock Assisted Living and Professional Case Management, for their excellent loving care.

Joe and I worked together at SRS in mid 1980s. He was a big positive influence in my life. Daily I remember him and another coworker. Joe taught me a few things.
I planted his Azaleas in my yard which was a big remembrance of him. Glad to see he lived this long.

So sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He lived a full life, raised two wonderful daughters, and enjoyed growing lots of garden vegetables! Our thoughts & prayers to the entire family! Cherish the wonderful memories always, and may God grant you peace!
