Gray and Margie Key Allen Gray, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, March 11, 2018. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters, Deborah (Calvin) Spires of Warrenville, S.C. and Wanda (Lucky) Gray of Trenton, S.C.; brothers, Randy (Gina) Mathis of Lumpkin, Ga., Steve (Karen) Meadows of New Ellenton, Jim E. She was born in Louisville, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a dedicated member of Warrenville Church of God, and she loved her church and her God supremely. She was fondly known as “MeMe” to many; especially to her numerous nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly. She also loved her pets, Opie and Barney. A woman of her caliber shall be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Death is not the end, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly Home, where all is joy and peace in a land of endless tomorrows. She has no more pain and suffering now. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held at Warrenville Church of God on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Robert Skelton and Rev. Jeffery Hicks officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park in Aiken, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Lucky Gray, Taylor Gray, Andrew (Dillon) Stone, Harvey Stone, Daniel Powell and Phillip Camley. Lee Gunter, Jerry (Jeremiah) Hawkins and Paul Turner will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Warrenville Church of God, 130 Simon St., Warrenville, S.C. 29851. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening, March 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Friends may also call at her sister Deborah Spires’ residence at 1474 Augusta Rd., Warrenville, S.C. To all the family I will miss Linda . She was a good Christian lady who loved the Lord and her family and friends. I know she is in no pain or heartaches anymore. She is with her Lord and with her loved ones and friends celebrating on the streets of Gold. She will truly be miss by lots of people that loved her. The song that goes through my mind about her is ' what a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see". Debbie, Wanda, and Linda have always stuck together as sisters helping each other. Remember the good times. To all the children I know she loved all of you and for you all to teach the word to others. Everytime I pass Warrenville Church of God I am going to remember her praising and rejoicing to the Lord. Rip Linda You are truly a Woman of God.
