I am so grateful you shared that. That always puts my mind at ease as a parent knowing Justin had some real friends that cared for him as much as we did. Something we cant out a price tag on is time. Thank you and all the others who took special time out to honor his memory and his life.

Thank you very much for your condolences. We may not respond right away, but just know nothing goes unnoticed. Especially the little things. We are grateful for our support system, and our Guard Family is a huge part of that. Again, thank you for taking time out to honor our son and our family.

I go to school with Olivia and Sophia and Sophia brought in a photo of her and her brother. She told me what happened and I am so glad that she feels comfortable sharing that with me. I am so very sorry for your loss... I knew him maybe in about 2nd grade until he left off to middle school. He was very funny and kind to everyone around him. My best friend did the same as he did this year as well and I understand how it feels. I am so sorry.

Justin was a sweet young man. He would come into my store everyday with his Dad and get a honeybun before they started their workday. The bond he had with his dad was a beautiful thing that people noticed and admired. My heart aches for his family not only for the loss of their loved one but for the loss of such a bright soul that touched more people than he realized. I will always remember you " Honeybun".

Justin was such a good friend. I wish I knew him better but otherwise we were friends. I will miss those silly conversations in the orchestra storage room that made the rest of my day brighter than ever. I will definitely miss his jokes and how he was not afraid to tell them in the middle of class, even making the teacher laugh. Justin you will be missed bud.
