Mrs. Joanne Francis Walton, age 73, loving wife of 50 years to Mr. Tyrone Walton, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 13th, 2018. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons, Hubert Edgar (Katie) Walton, James Grady Walton; daughters, Linda Rose (Christopher) Williams, Sheri Murphy, Teri Aderholt; brother, Danny (Angie) Woodward; grandchildren, Hubert E. Walton, Jr., Christian Lee (Auburn) Walton, Joshua Britt Walton, Leila Ober Walton, Shelby Nixon Walton, April (Dan) Underwood, Johnny Gunter, Tiffany Gunter Bristol and Brooks Williams; and two great grandchildren, Emma Lee Walton and Linkin Walton, and Aiyana Underwood. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shade and Mona Lisa Woodward. Mrs. Walton was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched in the 73 precious years that God granted her on this earth. A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted on Friday, January 19th, 2018 at 3 o’clock pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home, with Brother Tim Harley officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
