Brantley Louis Hancock, Sr.

Mr. Brantley Louis Hancock, Sr., age 88, husband to the late Willene Williams Hancock, entered into rest on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at Pruitt Health in Aiken.

 He is survived by his son, Brantley Lewis (Debra Webb) Hancock, Jr.; daughter, Sarah Kay (Gene) Osteen; grandchildren, Jason Hancock, Chad Hancock, Saree (Patrick) Robinson, Alli (Derrick) Coleman, Danielle Bishop Griffin; and six great grandchildren.

 In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lizzie Robertson Hancock; brother, Willie Hancock; and sister, Peggy Hancock.

Mr. Hancock was a Card Runner at Hickman Mill in Graniteville. He loved to tinker with things. He could fix anything he touched. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, January 24th, 2019, at 3pm, in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with the Rev. Ashley Hawkins officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, January 23rd, 2019 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Hancock, Chad Hancock, Josh Waller and Aaron Waller.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. One of the most difficult things we have to deal with is the death of a loved one. The Bible promise; "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life.
