McCormick – Albert Earl McCormick, age 63, of Ruffin NC, entered into eternal rest peacefully at his home on Saturday September 16th, 2017. Mr. McCormick is survived by his sons, James Earl Russell McCormick (Rachel), Dondi McCormick (April); daughters, Stephanie Boyd (Hulitt), Dawn Mathis (Thomas); brother, Russell McCormick (Tori); sister, Diane Glover (James), Eula Mae Shealy, and Patricia Martin; grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Courtney, Alexis, Thomas, Dondi, Jr., William, Cody, Amanda, Katelyn, Rebekah, Chelsea, Zachary, Tony; great grandchildren, Sophia, Kaylee, and Kaiden; and a second mother, Shirley Floyd. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Albert and Addie Mae McCarty McCormick; grandson, Hulitt Stephan Boyd; and brother in law, David Shealy. He was a mechanic for many years at Taylors BP Station in Graniteville and was known as “Earl”. He loved camping, fishing, and anything that could be done outdoors. He was an avid Gamecock fan as well. He lived at home with his granddaughter Brittany (Tony) great granddaughter Sophia. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched in the 63 precious years that God gave him on this earth. A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 21st, 2017 at 3 o’clock pm, at Harvest Independent Baptist Church (1795 Reynolds Pond Road. Aiken SC, 29805), with Pastor Glen Davis officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening September 19th, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
