Mr. Kenneth Wayne Kirkland, age 54, beloved husband to Ashley Hucks Kirkland, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 15th, 2018. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Kevin (Crystal) Kirkland, Christopher (Christina) Kirkland; step sons, Brady and Blake Sweatt; and grandchildren McKynna Colwell, Addison Kirkland, Christopher Kirkland, Jr and Colton Black. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Lee, Jr. and Barbara Floyd Kirkland; and brothers, Keith and Troy Kirkland. Mr. Kirkland spent five years as the Missions Director for Impact Ministries International and served as the Associate Pastor for the Impact Ministries Cowboy Church for two years. Also, he spent over 25 years in construction as a self employed contractor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly. A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted on Friday, September 21st, 2018, at 12 o’clock noon, at the Little Horse Creek Baptist Church in Graniteville, with Dr. Lynn Kirkland and Rev. Travis Perry officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until the time of the service and there will be a gathering for friends and family following the service at the church from 1-2pm.
