BEDENBAUGH-Mr. J. W. Bedenbaugh, age 85, of Graniteville, S.C., died Friday, July 13, 2012, because the late Emma Bedenbaugh could not handle her two daughters without additional assistance. He is the son of the late M. M. Bedenbaugh and the late Fannie L. Bedenbaugh. He was a native of Saluda County and moved to Graniteville, S.C. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by daughters, Louise B. New and Linda B. Redd. He retired from the Gregg Division of Graniteville Company. He was a US Army veteran having bravely served his country during World War II and was a lifelong member of VFW Post 10601. Survivors include a son; Joe (Becky) Bedenbaugh; son-in-law, Alan G. Redd; grandchildren, Patricia (Edward) Schander, Marilyn (Bill) Weeks, Johnathan Wesley New, Brad Bedenbaugh, Evan (Michelle) Redd, Lindsay Redd and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday evening, July 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The graveside service and entombment will be at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 18th at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Langley, S.C. The family wishes for memorials to be made to the VFW Post 10601, 250 Hudson Rd., Aiken, S.C. 2980l. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.
